Meetings with Councilmembers

Our group had individual meetings with Councilmember Melinda Liu and Councilmember William Go on the 6th and 11th of this month. On June 18th, we met with the Mayor, along with Oliver Chi, Sean Crumby (the new Interim City Manager), Liu, and Go at the Great Park to discuss the WDA agreement, which is scheduled for a vote at the upcoming city council meeting.

We Need The Council To Vote On The Waste Disposable Agreement (WDA)

On Mar. 27th, we stayed past midnight to present our comments before the council members on item 3.7 SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE WASTE DISPOSAL AGREEMENT (WDA) WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE on the consent calendar. We managed to have the council remove it from the consent calendar so that it can be discussed in the next council meeting, instead of just having the city manager sign off on the extension.

Meeting with the Irvine Mayor & City Manager

We held our initial official meeting with Mayor Larry Agran and City Manager Oliver Chi on March 26, 2025 (Wednesday) at the city hall to discuss the landfill expansion and the proposed new renewable natural gas plant. Attached is the presentation Oliver shared during the meeting.
